MINI SEMINAR

A "mini-seminar" was held at the Linwood Dojo on Saturday afternoon. A "mini-seminar is in effect simply intensive back to back sessions. We hold these about 6 times per year. The focus of this one was on katate tori and yokomenuchi techniques with classes take by Chris Lineham and Andrew Williamson. Both instructors emphasised basic sabaki [footwork], kamae [stance] and ukemi [receiving]. All with an eye to preparing students for the grading in June.
